Lesson 8. Practice. Developing the Gift of Knowledge. The “How to Hear God” School was held at Father’s Blessing Church. Author: John Paul Jackson. Teacher: Dmitriy Leo

The gift of knowledge manifests in many ways; in this lesson, we will explore another method—analyzing feelings.

Students divide into groups of 5–6 people. Each group forms a circle, facing one another. The groups stand far enough apart so they do not interfere with each other.

One student stands in the center of their group’s circle and closes their eyes. Their task is to analyze what they feel.

In random order, the other group members quietly approach the student in the center one at a time and stop about 30–40 centimeters away. The others remain in place and wait. They should not stand too close or touch the student, nor should they stand more than half a meter away from the person in the center. When a student approaches, they stop and stand silently so as not to reveal their presence. The person in the center listens with all their senses and tries to determine which direction the person is standing in. Then they point in that direction. They can now open their eyes and check whether they were right. Then the exercise is repeated. Another student approaches, and so on. The students around the circle may move around and change places.

This exercise can be conducted for 15–30 minutes. Then another student stands in the circle, and everything is repeated.

The goal is to learn to analyze our feelings correctly. If this ability is developed in us, we will be able to determine what kind of person is standing behind us, who has entered the room, what people want from us, whether someone is a sorcerer or a believer, and so on. For example, at John Paul Jackson’s school, some students can determine who has entered or left the classroom and what that person’s gender is.

Sometimes we need to discern what kind of person is standing before us, and feelings are one of the tools for achieving this discernment. This is one aspect of the gift of knowledge.

Tips

– play music quietly in the room so that the students do not listen for the approaching person’s footsteps.

– the person approaching should not hurry, but approach slowly so as not to create air currents.

– it is better to breathe to the side so as not to reveal your presence (for example, from the side of the person’s ear).

– the others should prompt the person standing in the circle when to begin analyzing: Come on!..

What a person standing in the center of the circle may feel

Warmth or cold coming from the approaching person. Air pressure, as if something had contracted and was pressing. Attraction or repulsion like a magnet. Movement, vibration. Strength. Anointing.

All of this is strictly individual.

Conclusion. You should not determine whether a person is spiritual based on how many things they guessed correctly. That is something entirely different. Our goal is to learn to discern the difference between when no one is nearby and when someone has appeared.

End of lesson.
