Matthew 25:31–46
31 When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory, 32 and all nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will place the sheep on His right side, and the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right: Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry, and you gave Me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you welcomed Me; 36 I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. 37 Then the righteous will answer Him: Lord! When did we see You hungry and feed You? Or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and welcome You? Or naked and clothe You? 39 When did we see You sick or in prison and come to You? 40 And the King will answer them: Truly I tell you, insofar as you did this to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me. 41 Then He will say to those on His left: Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry, and you did not give Me food; I was thirsty, and you did not give Me drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you did not welcome Me; I was naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick and in prison, and you did not visit Me. 44 Then they will also answer Him: Lord! When did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to You? 45 Then He will answer them: Truly I tell you, insofar as you did not do this to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me. 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Revelation 20:11–15
11 I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose presence the earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged according to what was written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each according to his deeds. 14 And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. 15 And whoever was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
Acts 17:30–31
30 Therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, God now commands all people everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world righteously through the Man whom He has ordained, having given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead.
2 Corinthians 5:10
for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may receive according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or bad.
Romans 14:10–12
10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? We will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written: “As surely as I live,” says the Lord, “every knee will bow before Me, and every tongue will confess to God.” 12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
John 5:22–29
22 For the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 24 Truly, truly, I tell you: whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 Truly, truly, I tell you: the hour is coming, and has now come, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. 27 And He has given Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear the voice of the Son of God; 29 and those who have done good will come out to the resurrection of life, while those who have done evil will come out to the resurrection of condemnation.
Hebrews 9:27
And just as it is appointed for people to die once, and after that comes judgment,
2 Peter 3:10–13
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief [in the night], and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and all its works will be exposed [destroyed]. 11 Since all these things will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 as you wait for and earnestly desire the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will melt in the heat? 13 But according to His promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
Joel 3:12
Let the nations be aroused and go up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit to judge all the nations from every side.
Daniel 7:9–10
9 As I watched, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool; His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were burning fire. 10 A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before Him; thousands upon thousands served Him, and myriads upon myriads stood before Him; the court was seated, and the books were opened.
Matthew 12:36
