Joshua 24:15
And if it seems undesirable to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve: whether the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord, [for He is holy].
Matthew 20:26–28
26 But it shall not be so among you. Whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant, 27 and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your servant, 28 just as the Son of Man did not come for the purpose of being served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.
