Psalm 1 in full: “Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.”
1 Scripture passage · “Father’s Blessing” Bible
Psalm 1:1–6
1 Happy is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, who does not stand in the way of sinners, and does not sit in the assembly of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and he meditates on His law day and night! 3 He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and whose leaf does not wither; and whatever he does will prosper. 4 Not so the wicked; [not so]: they are like chaff swept away by the wind [from the face of the earth]. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
