Lesson 3. The Time of Sowing and Harvest

June 12, 2020

Lesson 3. The Time of Sowing and Harvest. A school from “Faith and Confession” that lays an incredibly deep foundation in the Word of God. Charles Capps teaches how to activate the power of God in your life.

The first chapter of Genesis contains what I call the law of Genesis. If you understand it well, it will help you understand the ways of God. The law of sowing and harvest is God’s law.

And God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that bears fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that bears fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Gen. 1:11–12

Now let us look at what God said to Noah after the flood. God made a promise concerning the earth.

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma; and the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done: While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.” Gen. 8:20–22

This is the way God chose for this planet, and it will continue to operate as long as the planet exists.

The law of sowing and reaping is a law established by God. The law of being is another of His laws. Everything produces after its own kind and has seed within itself. This law works this way in everything.

For example, discord contains the seed of discord within itself. If you quarrel with someone, it will bring even more discord. If you give love, you will reap love. Everything contains seed within itself.

This is the law of sowing and reaping. But sometimes people may respond:

“I know why you declare God’s promises. You are simply trying to use the Word of God to bring them into effect.”

Yes! That is exactly how it works! That is why He sent His Word.

The Kingdom of God operates this way. It is like a man who sows seed in the ground. Let us see what Jesus said about the kingdom.

“The Kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and sleep and rise night and day; and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.”

For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, then the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. Mark 4:26–29

This is something you can do. Jesus said that you are one who sows seed; you speak it with your mouth. When you speak the word, it is seed that enters the heart—the human spirit—and begins to grow there and bear fruit. The Kingdom of God is like a man who sows seed in the ground. Mark 4:15–20 shows that a person’s heart is the soil.

Notice what Jesus said: “For the earth (the human heart) yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, then the full grain in the head” (Mark 4:28). Sometimes people give up before the harvest. Perhaps this has happened to you. You gave up before the fruit had ripened.

In Mark 11:23, Jesus shares with us the principle of the law of faith: “If anyone says and believes, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that he will receive what he says, then he will receive what he says.” (Paraphrased.) This is God’s understanding of faith. This is exactly how it works.

Seed is essential

Sometimes people think that something must happen simply because they said it. Declaration - is part of sowing. But it does not necessarily mean that it will happen

simply because you said it. I want you to understand my point, because people often misinterpret Mark 11:23.

It will not work simply because you said it. But by speaking, you have begun sowing. It is like telling a farmer about farming: “You do not necessarily have to harvest just because you planted something. But you will have no harvest if you do not plant anything.”

People often criticize us for teaching about confessing the Word of God and what God has said. They even say: “Confessing the Word of God is merely a mechanical action.”

But we are talking about sowing seed in order to reap a harvest. When you speak about the power of words, you are speaking about the power of seed. It is all about the life contained in the seed that the farmer plants. It is through this power that he has the fruit of what he planted. There is life in the Word of God, just as there is life in His promises. They contain life that God Himself breathed into them.

The Word of God is incorruptible, imperishable, eternal seed. And what are you going to sow if not the Word of God? God’s promises are good seeds for a harvest.

Act as God Would Act

I have heard people say: “Those who continually confess the Word of God and His promises are simply trying to act like God.”

Yes! That is exactly what we want to do: act as God would act in this situation. We know how God would act based on what He did in Genesis 1:3. He saw the darkness that covered the earth and said:

“Let there be light!” What did He do? He spoke what He wanted.

Some may respond: “But that was God Himself.”

That is true; it was God. But in the Book of Genesis, God also said:

And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Gen. 1:26

And how, in your opinion, could a person have dominion over everything? You can still imagine how Adam might have dealt with a rabbit eating his cabbage. But what would he have done if he encountered an elephant trampling his cabbage?

God commanded Adam to subdue everything. And he intended to do this in no other way than through faith-filled words. He intended to bring the earth under his control just as God did. When he saw something he did not like, he was responsible for changing it. And he acted as God did—he spoke words of faith.

Jesus said:

…whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24

In other words, pray about what you desire. Do not pray about what you do not want to have. Declare only what you desire, even when you pray.

Sow as God commanded

We are taught to speak as it is. But this is not the biblical method.

The biblical way of speaking is to speak as the Word of God speaks about it.

If your desires are in harmony with the Word of God, speak them as you desire them to be. Say it as God sees it. If your life is full of lack and problems, declare abundance and peace. And this will be the seed you sow. Read the Word of God, find the promises, and plant the seed. And you will be able to reap a harvest.

Sometimes people say a few words, sow a few seeds, and then abandon it all. In that case, it is not guaranteed that you will have any harvest at all simply because you sowed a seed. You need to care for the seed. It will take sufficient time before it becomes evident and bears fruit.

It will not happen automatically just because you said something. But by saying it, you sowed a seed, and there is a possibility that it will happen. It is not a fact that a farmer will have a harvest simply because he sowed something. But sowing implies a harvest. Without sowing, there will be no reaping of a harvest.

The Law of Genesis states that everything produces after its own kind. But everything God created so that we could live a victorious life can also turn against us if we do not follow the instruction manual—the Word of God.

Testing the Seed

God did not give us the Word to hold us captive, but I have heard people say, “This teaching on confession has taken me captive. I cannot say anything of my own because I have to carefully watch my words.”

You will see the effect when you begin to watch what you say. Often, the reason for your problems is that you constantly talk about them.

When people come to me and tell me about their problems, I ask them, “How long have you been confessing negativity concerning this situation?” Sometimes people have been doing this for more than 20 years. Their main problem is their own mouths and what they have confessed for 20 years.

In Luke 17:5, the disciples said to Jesus: “Increase our faith.” In other words, “Just give us more faith.” It would be nice if we could ask God for a little more faith. It would be wonderful if God could fill us to the brim with faith, wouldn’t it?

But what did Jesus answer in verse 6:

The Lord said, “If you had faith as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. Luke 17:5

Problems Obey You

Jesus did not say that the tree would obey God or the Holy Spirit. He said that it would obey you. These are Jesus’ words.

The apostles thought the problem was that they needed more faith. But Jesus told them, “Guys, you do not need more faith. All you need is to understand that faith works according to the principle of a seed. If you do not plant it, you will have nothing to harvest.” (Paraphrased).

Faith will not come simply because you ask for it. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, which we speak with our mouths. (Rom. 10:17).

Planting the Seed

The seed will not produce fruit unless it is planted. If you have a single kernel of wheat, you will not be able to make bread from it, because one kernel is not enough. But if you are wise enough to plant it and

cultivate it, eventually you will have enough wheat to feed the whole world. It is simple. Only when it is planted will it produce a harvest.

So Jesus said to His disciples: “If you had faith that you truly wanted to sow…” The problem was that they did not have the faith to sow. They did not have “faith like a seed.” You can have faith without sowing or giving it away.

You might answer me: “Oh yes, I believe the Bible is true. I believe it from cover to cover.”

Someone might quote Philippians 4:19: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Or Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom; for with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

By saying this, they claim to know what the Bible says about it. Then the question naturally arises:

  • Is this true in your life?

  • Well, no…

  • And why can't this be true in your life?

  • I think it simply isn't God's will.

The Word of God is God's will, His desire. It is God's will, but it will not happen simply because it is God's will. You will not be healed merely because the Bible says: “By His (Jesus’) stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). You will not prosper merely because the Bible says: “And whatever he does shall prosper” (Psalm 1:3).

The Word must be within you. You cannot take the Bible with you to the hospital and lay it on the sick, hoping that this will heal them, even though the Bible is filled with the Word of God. But if you bring the word to the sick, and it is within them, it will bear its fruit. The Word of God has power and bears fruit only when it is sown in the heart.

Faith speaks

Jesus said to the apostles: “If you have faith like a mustard seed and say to the fig tree…” Obviously, they were on the way, and the fig tree was directly in their path. The tree was an obstacle in their way.

Jesus said, “Friends, if you had faith the size of a seed and told this tree to be uprooted and planted elsewhere, it would do so, obeying you.” In other words, Jesus said, “The tree would obey your faith-filled words if your faith were like a seed.”

In this verse, Jesus reveals the two greatest secrets of faith: faith is a seed, or faith works like a seed; and you sow when you speak.

Someone may say, “You will never see me speaking to trees and mountains or anything else.”

Surely you would not see anyone doing such a thing either. Jesus was not talking about physically uprooting a tree from the ground or casting Everest into the sea when He said: “...if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and cast into the sea...’” (Mark 11:23).

Jesus was talking about the problems in your life, the situations you face or the circumstances you do not know how to handle. He says that you should tell this situation or problem: “Be uprooted and cast into the sea; go away and leave me!” Tell problems what to do and where to go!

Ruling Through Words

Thus, Adam exercised dominion at the beginning of creation. God told him to rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the creatures that crawl on the earth.

Knowing that you are ruler over all the creatures that crawl on the earth —is not bad news in itself.

And how was Adam going to subdue the elephant? He did it through faith. On a physical level, he would hardly have been able to accomplish anything. He needed faith and words filled with power. He had to rule by faith. Adam had to act as God did, because he was made in His image.

The Tongue Deceives the Heart

If anyone among you thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, his religion is worthless. James 1:26

James says that anyone who thinks he is a believer and godly is believing in vain if he is unable to bridle his mouth. There are so many people in the world who appear godly but cannot control their tongues. They say all sorts of things that destroy their faith and deceive their hearts.

Perhaps when they first became Christians, their faith was strong. But if they start repeating everything they hear on television, they will believe that the devil can come and steal everything they have. Instead of prosperity, they will have depression, and what they had at the beginning will disappear, because faith comes by hearing. Fear comes in the same way.

If you pray for one thing but confess another, your prayer will be nullified.

The Spiritual Law of Words

Once I heard this statement: Those who say they can and those who say they cannot are both right in any situation.

Learn how to operate in the power of God’s Word and the law of faith. We naturally accept and understand the laws of nature. There is the law of gravity, for example. Everyone knows how it works. Of course, there will be a fool who wants to disprove this law, but as soon as he decides to test it and jumps from a height, he will immediately realize that he was wrong and that this law always works.

The law of gravity works both when it is cold and when it is warm. It operates when the wind is blowing and when it is not. This law will still be in force even if it is raining or darkness surrounds us. It works because it was established by God.

The Word of God is a spiritual law. It will work if you apply it correctly in a given situation. But sometimes we make up our own rules and say things we do not really mean, and then say: “Yes, I said it, but I did not really mean it. I said we would go bankrupt, but God knew that I did not mean it.”

This is like planning to call your father and dialing only three digits of the number, leaving out the last two, while assuming that the telephone company knows what you meant.

You will not be able to speak with your father because you did not follow the telephone company’s instructions.

Uncontrolled power will destroy

We need to realize something: we must live according to God's rules. God has established rules and guidelines regarding how His laws work. And when we operate in the spiritual realm, we must follow God's rules.

Controlled and Uncontrolled Power

We all know how the laws of electricity work and how to apply them. And as long as you obey the law, you can use electricity completely safely.

With electricity, you can heat your home, cook food, and wash clothes. How wonderful it is that we have electricity! But what can bring you so much good can destroy everything if it is not controlled and managed.

In the Book of Proverbs, it says: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” (Prov. 18:21). The old saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me,” is not true. Words can destroy because they are a source of faith or fear. Faith builds up. Fear destroys.

What We Bind and What We Loose

The spiritual realm can be controlled by the Word of God. Jesus gave Peter some understanding of the Kingdom of God.

And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19

With words, we can bind or loose something. Sometimes, when we say something, we justify ourselves by thinking that we are being honest. But by doing so, we give the devil an opportunity to act against us. By saying

“We will never break through,” or “Even if I find a good job, something will happen and I will lose it,” we allow the enemy to act against us. And the enemy takes advantage of the influence your words have.

The Word says:

…and whatever he does prospers. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap; for with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. (Ps. 1:3; Isa. 54:17; Luke 6:38; Acts 2:47).

This is what God thinks about us. Not understanding that words have power, we say that nothing will work out for us.

Imagine what influence negative words can have on your spirit. They will not have such a great influence on anyone else as they do on you. Words have tremendous power because, when you speak them, you release them into your inner spirit.

You release the power of God by speaking the Word of God into yourself. The Word of God coming from your mouth produces power in your spirit called faith. What fills your heart in abundance will be on your lips, producing abundance in your heart. And your heart generates spiritual power called faith.

Heb. 11:1 says that faith is the substance of things hoped for. It is also confidence in things unseen. Thus, faith is confidence in what you hope for, and such faith comes from the Word of God. Faith is the substance and confidence of what we desire.

What is the substance of a farmer’s desire? Everything he can begin with in the spring

— it is seed. He has the seed of a future harvest. The ability to produce is in the seed itself.

And as this seed grows, it will produce far more than the farmer planted. The Word of God—His promises—is just as powerful.

Let me share with you what God spoke to me in 1974, in Dallas, Texas. He said:

“The power of My Words has not diminished in the slightest. My Word has just as much power as it had on the day I first spoke it. My Word is not without power, but My people do not have the power of words. They do not say what I say. They

prefer to say what this world says. They say what the enemy says.

Although My Word contains creative power that is released when you speak it, their words can likewise contain evil power to exert pressure on those who speak them.”

To some extent, we have understood that there is creative power in the Word of God, but I do not think we have stopped to consider with the same certainty that, just as there is power in the Word of God, there is also evil power in the enemy’s words to trouble and oppress those who speak them.

Faith comes by hearing

We speak of declaring the Word of God and releasing the power called “faith,” which is within us and is the substance of things hoped for and the assurance of things not seen. This truth also has an opposite aspect. Just as there is power in the Word of God that releases faith, there is spiritual power in the enemy’s words as well, and this power is called fear.

Faith in God comes by hearing the Word, just as faith in the devil comes by hearing the devil’s words. Faith in the devil is called fear.

I would like to repeat this in other words. …faith is the substance of things hoped for and the assurance of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is the substance of what is desired, because what I hope for is nothing other than what I desire. Faith is the substance of what is desired, and this same faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

Having heard God’s promise, I desired it. I declare God’s promise, releasing faith within myself—the spiritual power that is the substance of what is desired. Faith in God and His Word comes by hearing the Word of God.

Fear also comes by hearing

Fear comes by hearing the devil’s words. Thus, if hearing the Word of God strengthens faith, hearing the devil’s words produces fear. Just as faith is the substance of things hoped for, fear is the substance of what we do not desire.

That is why you must resist fear just as you resist the devil. Now we understand why Job said: “For the thing I greatly feared has happened to me, and what I dreaded has come upon me” (Job 3:25).

When you go out into the world about your business or in connection with ministry, be ready to resist fear, because Satan uses the tactic of fear.

How can fear be overcome? By declaring the Word of God. Remember what Jesus answered when the devil tried to tempt Him in the wilderness by asking Him to turn stones into bread.

…It is written: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

If you live by every Word of God, then it is also true that the devil’s words would lead you to death. For the Word of God produces life-giving faith, while the devil’s words produce fear that leads to destruction. If you speak words contrary to the Word of God, you contribute to the increase of fear.

Sometimes people do not even realize that they are quoting the devil. But, by speaking words contrary to the Word of God, that is exactly what they are doing.

Whether you realize it or not, there are two sources. By speaking contradictory words, we also release spiritual power through our mouths. And sooner or later, this power will penetrate our spirit (heart).

Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. Prov. 7:2–3

My heart overflows with a good word; I speak of my song concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.

This is how it all works.

Do not agree with the enemy. Ps. 45:1

If you speak the enemy’s words, you write them on the tablets of your heart. Very often, the reason for fear in many people is that they believe everything they hear on television. This is what Jesus said about the last days:

People will faint from fear and expectation of what is coming upon the inhabited world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Luke 21:26

Jesus did not say that a person’s own heart would fail because of what would happen on the earth. He said that their hearts would be tormented by fear and expectation of what is coming upon the earth — in other words, apprehension and anxiety about tomorrow.

Jesus is not speaking about heart attacks. According to the law of double reference, He could have meant this, but I have not found a single passage in Scripture where Jesus spoke about the physical heart. He is speaking about the spiritual part of a person—the human spirit. Jesus is speaking about the soil of your heart, where the Kingdom of God dwells.

Jesus says that the Kingdom in a person’s heart will not function as it should because of fear.

You can have strong faith when you are surrounded by Christians. But when you go out into the world, you must resist fear with all your strength, just as you resist the devil. You can do this by quoting the Word of God in any situation and circumstance. And even if it seems to you that all hell has risen against you, say what God has said about you. And faith will come.

Words of Life

There is life in every Word of God. In fact, Jesus said it this way:

The words that I speak to you are spirit and life. John 6:63

In other words, there is spiritual life in every Word of God.

Since this is true, the words of the devil contain spiritual death. The words you speak affect your spirit. You can speak words that bring life to your spirit by agreeing with God. Or you can speak words that bring death to your spirit by agreeing with the devil.

This is what the Book of Proverbs says:

A man's spirit will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit? Proverbs 18:14

A person's spirit is able to endure sickness. Another translation says that a person's spirit can restrain sickness or keep it at a distance. A person's heart, their spirit, can endure sickness, but everything depends on what the person speaks into their spirit.

The Word of God speaks about this. The heart will endure sickness and hold it back.

Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. The power to bind or loose is here on earth. And we do this with words filled with faith. We speak either words of faith or words of fear. Words of faith give God the opportunity to act in His might. Words of fear, however, allow the devil to release his power.

Words are very important. Just as people learn the laws of nature and try to use them, we can also learn how to use spiritual laws. Your words are seeds that you sow, and they will certainly produce a harvest.

Test the seed before you sow it

Be careful when you sow. Sometimes people pray incorrectly.

Have you ever prayed using the devil’s words? Surely, this question has confused you. Once I prayed, saying, “Lord, my prayer isn’t working. Everything is only getting worse.”

The Spirit of God spoke to me: “Who told you that?”

I thought about it for a moment and then answered, “It must be the devil, because there is nothing like that in Your Word.”

God answered, “That’s right. And I would be very grateful if you stopped telling Me what the devil said.”

People often pray about the problem instead of its solution. And if you pray about the problem, your faith in the problem will increase, because faith comes by hearing.

You can destroy your faith by praying about the problem.

If you pray like this: “Lord, Ivan has lost his job, we will have no income, and we won’t be able to make the car payments, and surely, by the end of the year we

will lose our home… and also, Lord, You know that he can’t find a job…”

When you rise from such a prayer, you will have faith that he will not be able to find a job and that your needs will not be met. You will feel so godly, but what have you actually done by praying such a prayer? You have opened the door to the devil.

So what is the solution in such a situation? It’s simple—find the answer in the Word of God and pray for the solution to the problem.

Pray for the answer

“Father, Your Word says that whatever I desire, when I pray in faith, I believe that I receive it, and I will have what I pray for. Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I pray that Vanya will get a job, even better than the one he had. I pray that all our needs will be met according to the riches of Your glory. Thank You, Father. I believe that I receive when I pray, and I thank You for it. I rejoice over this and glorify You, Father, that we will be able to pay for our house and have the opportunity to give even more toward missions!”

After rising from such a prayer, you will be filled with faith in God’s promises—not because you asked for faith, but because you declared God’s promises in your prayer. And faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

We absolutely must control the words that come out of our mouths. God created human beings with the ability to act at His level of faith. Jesus said: “...if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23). All things are possible with God. Believe this and declare it. As you release faith in this, you will grow in the faith as God sees it.

The Word of God Is Above All

There is power in the name of Jesus, but God has exalted His Word above His name. That is why the Word of God plays such an important role in our lives.

We need to watch what our mouths say. Decide to speak only what agrees with the Word of God. This does not mean that you will have to walk around quoting the Bible all the time. You do not need to constantly quote the Word of God, but speak only what is in agreement with God’s Word.

Jesus said that He spoke only what He heard from the Father: “...what I hear from Him, that I speak to the world” (John 8:26).

If you do the same, you will see changes in your life. Begin to confess: “I have wisdom from God. I am led by Him. I hear the voice of the Good Shepherd.”

And you will certainly hear the voice of the Good Shepherd and have the wisdom of God in every situation. This will come into your life if you continue to confess it, because the Word of God works to fulfill what God has promised. Remember that the seed itself is a promise.

Do Not Tell God What the Devil Said

When the Lord asked me to stop talking about what the devil had said, I was praying about my finances at the time. He also said that if I did not change my confessions, I would not see any improvement in this area.

Then I said, “Lord, but what am I supposed to do? It’s true that I have financial problems.”

God answered, “Go and see what I say in My Word about finances, and confess what I have said.” One day, while I was making this confession, I stopped and said, “Lord, it seems to me that I’m lying when I confess all this.”

He answered, “How can what I have said be a lie?” How can someone lie by quoting what God has said about this situation?

Another time, when I was praying, I said, “God, I don’t hear Your voice. I remember that You said I would hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, but I don’t hear it!”

I kept telling God again and again that I couldn’t hear Him. Sometimes we catch ourselves wishing to hear an audible voice, but God said to me, “Go and take My Word, where I said that My sheep hear My voice. Confess that you hear the Shepherd’s voice, that you know His voice, and that you do not follow the voice of a stranger. Also confess that the Spirit of truth dwells in you, teaches you, and guides you into truth. Confess that you have perfect knowledge of every situation. Do this again and again, day after day.”

He said that if I did this, some time would pass before it came to pass and before I heard His voice.

It did not happen overnight. It was a process of renewing my mind.

Tune Your Spirit to the Right Frequency

You have surely heard people say, “I don’t know what God is saying. I’ve never even heard Him speak.”

Yet those same people will easily say what the devil is saying. Think about it.

How can they hear the devil, but not God?

Some Christians constantly say, “The devil said that…” And yet they say they do not hear God. They are too preoccupied with what the devil is telling them. They need to tune in to another frequency and confess: “I will not listen to the voice of a stranger. I will hear the voice of the Good Shepherd.”

By confessing this for 8–10 months, it will be much easier for you to hear the voice of God.

Some things we assume; others we have been taught incorrectly. And when you confess all this, you will discover that every promise contains enough power to be fulfilled in your life. Time will pass, and they will be fulfilled in every area of your life.

Be a doer, not a hearer only

But you need to do this. You cannot simply say, “There is such a promise in the Bible. I think it will be fulfilled for me.”

The Kingdom of God is like a man who sows seed in the ground. You need to sow the seed, and then the time will come to harvest. The harvest has no choice. Its time must come. This is God's promise. If you sow the seed, eventually you will reap a harvest, because the law of sowing and reaping is still in force. And it will operate as long as the earth exists. This is God's method, and it will work in your life as well.

It all depends on you. You need to make the decision to do this. If you are dissatisfied with your harvest, check what seeds you are sowing. If you are sowing the incorruptible seed of the Word of God, a good harvest awaits you. Do not give up. With God, you can overcome anything.

End of lesson.
