About the Genre: Prayer Music

Instrumental music helps you focus: it usually has no words to distract you, allowing you to speak with God in your own words. This music is suitable for prayer, Bible reading, work, and relaxation.

This collection features recordings by DappyTKeys, Dan Musselman, PianoMessage, and other instrumental worship artists. Some recordings include vocals or Scripture readings (their titles contain words such as “Scriptures,” “Promises,” “Prophetic,” and “Intercession”): the collection does not promise that all recordings are entirely instrumental. For meditative sounds, also see the “Soaking Music” page. We also have a “Prayer and Worship Music” page with recordings for extended times of prayer.

Yes, that is what it is designed for. Turn on “No video” and “Repeat.”

Where can I find music specifically for extended prayer?

Our website has a “Music for Prayer and Worship” page with recordings for prayer time.

How can I transfer my playlist to another device?

There are two ways. 1) Link: open the “My Playlist” tab, click “Copy link to my playlist,” send it to yourself (via messenger or email), and open it on another device; the songs will be added to “My Playlist” there. 2) File: click “Export”; on a computer, the my-playlist-imbf.json file will be saved in the “Downloads” folder. On a smartphone, confirm the download: on iPhone, the file will appear in the “Files” app under “Downloads”; on Android, in the “Downloads” folder. Transfer the file to another device (via messenger, email, or cloud storage), open “My Playlist” there, click “Import,” and select the file.

How can I share a playlist with friends?

Open “My Playlist” and click “Copy link to my playlist,” then send the link to a friend. When they open it, your songs will be added to their “My Playlist.” You can also send a file: click “Export,” send the my-playlist-imbf.json file, and have your friend open “My Playlist” on the “Music” section page, click “Import,” and select the file. This works on computers and smartphones.

What happens to songs already in my playlist when I import?

Importing does not delete anything: new songs are added to the end of your list, while duplicates are skipped. If you need to clear the playlist, click “Clear” before importing. Tip: export your playlist from time to time to save a copy. The playlist is stored only in your browser, and it will disappear if you clear the site data.
