Dmitriy Leo. My Seven Rules Regarding Ministry. 7 “Don'ts”

October 24, 2017

I apply these rules to myself; through them, I humble and discipline myself. They enable me to serve with minimal losses in my personal life and to the people who stand beside me.

1. Do not judge. God's judgments and crises come upon the lives of those who judge.
2. Do not quarrel. Friends can become enemies, and enemies can become friends.
3. Do not take offense. There is no point. What will it change anyway?
4. Do not tense up. Blessed are the flexible; they do not tense up and will not break.
5. Do not compare. It is an opportunity to become proud or discouraged.
6. Do not try to convince. You cannot teach someone—you can learn.
7. Do not carry someone else's crosses. Don't even try. Only Jesus can do that.
