A testimony of how God performed a miracle: An 8 mm stone disappeared after prayer. An excerpt from the “Healing, Freedom, Breakthrough” conference at Father’s Blessing Church, February 24, 2024
It began several years ago with my daughter-in-law, Ivanka. A stone came out of her kidney and became lodged in the ureter. There was severe inflammation, and surgery was necessary to remove the stone. There was no other option. Everything went well, and we thought that was the end of it. Three years passed, and her kidney began bothering her again. She went for an ultrasound. It showed that a stone had formed—an 8 mm stone, not a small one. That is a large stone. It could not pass through the ureter on its own, since the ureter is at most 5 mm wide. She was very upset because she did not want to undergo surgery. We began praying for her. Her faith was wavering somewhat. The Lord gave her a sign. She went to church in her city on Sunday. My daughter-in-law had not told anyone about her health problems. A sister approached her and said, “I want to tell you a story.” The woman told her how her family had prayed for their grandson and the stone had disappeared from his kidney. Ivanka listened and began asking God, “If You sent this woman with a testimony, You can perform such a miracle for me too.” Her faith rose and was strengthened. The trip to Kyiv for further tests was postponed. I called and asked how she was feeling. My daughter-in-law replied, “It seems that nothing hurts anymore. Maybe there’s nothing there now.” I suggested that she get checked anyway. We prayed. The next day she called and said she was going for an examination because after the prayer she had experienced an attack of pain that passed after an hour. She had a CT scan because the urologist would not see her without one, in order to clearly determine what was happening in the kidney and the stone’s size and density. The CT result: no stone was visible in either the kidney or the ureter. She took the scan to a doctor at the Institute of Urology. The doctor reviewed the ultrasound and CT results: “This is impossible. The CT scan performed in your city was of poor quality.” They referred her to a specialist who interprets CT scans. The specialists searched the images for several days but could not find the stone. It could not have passed naturally because it was so large. But the stone truly was gone! God performed a miracle! Surgery was not needed, and no treatment was necessary.
