Romans 14:5–6

5 One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each person should act according to the conviction in their own mind. 6 Whoever observes a day, observes it for the Lord; [and whoever does not observe the day, does not observe it for the Lord.] Whoever eats, eats for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and whoever does not eat, abstains for the Lord, and gives thanks to God.

Nehemiah 8:9–12

9 Then Nehemiah, the governor, Ezra the scribe and priest, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people: “This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn or weep,” for all the people were weeping as they listened to the words of the Law. 10 And he said to them: “Go, eat choice food and drink sweet drinks, and send portions to those for whom nothing has been prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” 11 So the Levites calmed all the people, saying: “Be still, for this day is holy; do not grieve.” 12 Then all the people went to eat and drink, to send portions, and to celebrate with great joy, because they understood the words that had been made known to them.
