This happened at night, during a week of solitude with the Lord. I traveled to a quiet part of our country, booked a room at a boarding house for 5 nights, and prayed and read the Bible there.
I asked the Holy Spirit about demons and how they affect people during sleep. The Holy Spirit answered me, “You will see for yourself. Tonight, a demon will come into your room. Do not be afraid of it; you are under protection.”
I wrote this down in my notebook and placed it on the bedside table. I went to bed at about 22:00 and turned off the light. I was lying facing the wall with my eyes closed.
The Holy Spirit told the truth: a demon came to me
After some time, I heard a faint noise in the hallway, as if someone had knocked on the door. (I later determined that it happened exactly at 00:00.) Since everything around me was quiet, I could hear every sound clearly.
I heard someone walking very slowly from the hallway into my bedroom. The floors in the room were covered with parquet, and I could clearly hear the boards bending and creaking under someone’s feet. I was surprised because demons do not have physical bodies.
I got goosebumps and felt a little frightened. I realized this was not a dream. It was happening to me. A real demon was approaching me. What would it do next? What should I do? I lay there holding my breath and did not move.
The demon came right up to my bed and stopped
After a couple of minutes, I felt it touch me with a finger. I was afraid, but I remembered the words of the Holy Spirit that I was under protection. The demon ran its finger over me and then withdrew it. After that, the demon quickly left me and went into the hallway, and all sounds ceased.
I lay there stunned for another 15 minutes, then decided to get up and go into the entryway. I turned on the light and went in. There was no one in the entryway, and the door was locked from the inside. I always leave the key in the lock so that no one can open it from outside.
The clock showed 00:05. I asked the Holy Spirit, “Why did the demon leave so quickly?” I received this answer: “He read what was written in your journal, understood what was happening, and left.” The Holy Spirit also revealed the demon’s name to me, but said not to tell anyone else.
So, I scared the demon away because I had left my notebook open. For certain reasons, I will not share my conclusions. But perhaps you will find something interesting for yourself in this story. I will add one thing… pray before going to bed.
