Pastor of Father’s Blessing Church, Dmitriy Leo shares revelations about what to do to keep the revival going and how to prepare for shocking and incredible miracles.
Five Years of Revival
Five years have now passed since spiritual revival took place at Father’s Blessing Church. On December 19, 2010, a movement of faith and the Holy Spirit began at our center. That day, the word of faith and the action of faith were released, and… everything began. During this movement, thousands of people from around the world experienced salvation, healing, deliverance, and breakthrough. People from every continent attended our services. We became instruments and witnesses of the Holy Spirit’s works in our day. Glory to the Lord for all of this! And this is only the beginning; the best is still ahead.
We saw such astonishing miracles that we can hardly live an ordinary life now.
What to Do to Keep the Revival Going
After that momentous service, I came home and went to bed, but I could not fall asleep. I felt that something had happened. I asked the Lord what we should do so that the fire that had been kindled would keep burning. The Holy Spirit answered that whenever we minister to unsaved, sick, and bound people, miracles will happen. And we “caught” this direction for our ministry. Later, we discovered that this was one of the keys to sustaining revival and a multiplier of miracles. Since then, we have carried out this commission wherever possible, and miracles happen constantly.
We must always do the works of God and always destroy the works of the devil, and miracles will always happen around us.
Power Will Be Released Gradually
At the very beginning, we received a revelation that all the power would not be released at once, but gradually, as we learned and became established. That is what happened throughout this time. This revelation helped us not become discouraged when we did not see answers to certain prayers. At first, we saw minor healings, but season after season they increased. That is how we grew as we continued on the journey. Now we are in a season when, in addition to various miracles, we see new organs and body parts being created; people throw away their canes and crutches, and paralytics rise from wheelchairs and walk. This happened before, but now it happens more often and more easily.
We did not study in order to do; we did in order to learn. Practical training is always more effective than academic training.
The Time Has Come for a Prayer Marathon
Soon we will begin a new prayer marathon, “33 Days for Breakthrough and Miracles.” We have good experience conducting such marathons, setting aside 30, 33, or 100 days for prayer. After such marathons, real breakthrough and progress followed. I remember well how we prayed for 100 days for revival. Two weeks after it ended, revival began—and it continues to this day. Various churches held similar marathons following our example, and there were results in many places. It is a small sacrifice, but God responds to it. Once, when we completed another 30 days for breakthrough, I had a dream at night. In the dream, the Holy Spirit said, “For a small price, you have acquired a new door.” Two weeks later, a new level of power and authority came, and numerous deliverances began.
Prayer marathons are not a great sacrifice, yet the Lord quickly answers united prayer.
We Are Preparing for Shocking and Incredible Miracles
We have a revelation that shocking and incredible miracles will soon take place. These are miracles that have never happened before. We ourselves will be shocked by what takes place before our eyes. Then many will say, “We have never seen anything like this before,” and, “If we tell you, you will not believe it.” We are working on our faith now and expecting a new season. We have discovered that the main keys to miracles are the “word” and “faith.” At the same time, we clearly understand that all these miracles will be released not for our entertainment, but to support the preaching of the “Good News.” The Holy Spirit is now giving us a desire to minister to people who are extremely ill and doomed—those whom no one is able to help. This is one reason why shocking and incredible miracles will take place. God greatly desires to help these people, but He is waiting for us to agree.
The word carries God’s incredible power, while faith directs that power where it is needed. We should not seek easy places to minister; we should pursue genuine challenges of faith.
When We Change Our Thinking, Everything Begins to Work
One revelation that helped me become more effective is the “importance of changing our thinking.” Anyone who is willing to abandon old experience and change their thinking will see rapid changes. This is how the “anointing of acceleration” works. It is not poured into old wineskins. When we started a new church in Kyiv a year ago, we received direction to immediately teach people everything we knew and immediately release them to fulfill the Lord’s commission. I was personally very interested to see whether new, completely different people, with different backgrounds, could quickly learn and use everything we offered them. A year has passed, and we see that it works. Any group of people, any church, can be equipped to fulfill the Great Commission, and they will succeed. This is exactly what Jesus wants from us.
“teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 (RSZ)
Our task is to do the works of Jesus and teach others to do them. Those who act this way have the honor of being called His disciples. Jesus promised that He would be with such people every day until the end of the age. Such people have God’s approval and will not be ashamed to look Him in the eyes when they stand before Him in the Kingdom of Heaven. For this, it is worth living differently and paying any price.
Revival, power, miracles, and signs are not the result of human spirituality or church activity; they are signs that someone is available to Him.
Faith Guidelines for Those in Revival:
- We need to return to the foundations of genuine faith and lead people there.
- We must make the Gospel simple and accessible not only to the unsaved, but also to Christians.
- Practice is the most effective school of learning and spiritual growth.
- If we help people believe, they will help us burn.
- There is “faith,” and there is “inspiration that resembles faith.” Only the Word of God produces “faith.”
- We need to encourage people to believe and to believe to the end. Faith has an advantage over all methods and ways of helping.
- Supporting people in faith after healing services is as important as building their faith at the beginning of the services.
- Some people lose their miracles and healings, and we need to accept this as a fact and not become discouraged. At the same time, we must not deny that these miracles occurred.
- When acting in faith, we need to act more boldly. By acting in faith, we do not challenge God; we challenge our doubt.
- The more radical our actions, the more powerful the miracles we will see.
- We need to take on the most difficult assignments if we want to grow in faith.
- We must not merely state the facts; we must change the facts by faith.
- We must always be expectant, because God performs miracles at every service.
- If the audience is ignited by faith, miracles happen quickly. We must spread our faith to others.
- We must not become accustomed to miracles and stop marveling at them. The miracle is not what happened, but Who performed it.
- We should be amazed by both great and small testimonies. It is all Him.
- Demons hate forceful deliverance and fear those who attack and drive them out mercilessly.
- We need to know how to celebrate small victories; they lead to great victories.
- We must not take upon ourselves the blame for everyone who did not receive healing or deliverance; we must give this to God.
- We are not losing; this is a learning process.
- It is useless to fight religion and try to change religious people. It is more useful to ignore religion rather than answer its foolishness.
- Criticism for miracles and healings is our reward.
- There are far more people who need our ministry than those who do not.
- The more we practice praying for people, the more successful we become.
Conclusion
I like “who I am,” “where I am,” and “what I am doing today.” Revival burns within us and pushes us forward toward even greater works. I invite all of you on this amazing journey of faith, during which we will not be bored. There is something more than sitting on church chairs and listening to sermons. God’s vision for your life is far greater and broader than the size of the “box” in which we conduct our services. All the most interesting things await us “outside.” You will find Him where He met you.
Do not wait for revival; awaken right now! The reason we need to be awakened is not for “revival,” but for eternity. The Word of God says that we need to awaken because our salvation is near. If we know that the day of our deliverance is near, then we must hurry and finish all the tasks God has entrusted to us.
Come and join us at our revival services, and together we will keep this fire burning. We see the voice of revival and healing being restored today. The Holy Spirit is equipping us and directing us toward a great harvest of souls. And we must say to Him, “Yes, I will go; take me!”
Be blessed!
With love, the senior pastors of Father’s Blessing Church, Dmitriy and Inna Leo.
