I injured my left leg in an accident. During surgery, an implant, a plate, and 9 pins were inserted into my knee joint. My leg movement was limited when I walked, my knee joint would not bend, and constant pain affected my leg. All my loved ones and relatives were worried about me. Two weeks ago, my right knee began to hurt so badly that it was difficult for me to walk, and my leg swelled up. Throughout the day, as I walked, my leg would swell from the knee all the way down. I went to the hospital, and the doctors gave me a sick note. At night, when I got up and looked at my legs, I was overcome by fear or terror: my leg had swollen again compared with my left leg. My wife Svetlana and I were ministering together in the city of Stryi, Lviv Oblast. At one of the services, we met a woman named Miroslava. It was very difficult for her to get to the service in Stryi because of a problem with her leg. No one knew that she was suffering from pain in her leg. God’s people prayed for her. Then they asked, “Can you lift your leg?” Physically, she could not lift her leg, but by faith she began to raise it, and she succeeded. Then we asked her, “Can you squat?” Squatting was painful for her, but by faith she began to do it, and she succeeded. After that, we asked her, “Can you run?” Despite the fact that the service was still going on and people were standing around, she ran and sat down. As we were driving home, she told us her story. Five years earlier, her tendons had torn, and she had walked with a brace. She needed surgery to replace her kneecap. The surgery cost 16,000 hryvnias. A date was set for the operation, but she caught a cold. She informed the doctors that she was ill, and the operation was postponed. As soon as she recovered, the hospital called her again, but by then the woman had become ill with something else. One day, the pastor of her church invited her to a service, and she came. Instead of surgery, God healed her. When we arrived with her in her city, she normally had to walk two kilometers to her home, but we gave her a ride. While we were driving her, her daughter called and asked, “Where are you?” The woman said she was by the bridge. Her children were used to their mother taking an hour and a half to walk two kilometers, but she arrived home 20 minutes later. Her whole family was amazed. The woman lives in a two-story house. In front of her entire family, she climbed the stairs and came back down. She was completely healed.
Recently, I spoke with her by phone. She went to be examined by doctors. The doctors did not believe that she was healed and insisted on surgery.
