Jesus healed the parents in response to prayer. Excerpt from the “Healing, Deliverance, Breakthrough” conference at Father’s Blessing Church on October 29, 2022
Two years ago, the narrator’s parents, who were not yet believers, fell ill at the same time. Her mother had a long-term intestinal obstruction after numerous surgeries: she suffered and had been unable to have a bowel movement for several weeks. Her father had diabetes and severely swollen legs.
The narrator was at a service where people prayed during the day, approximately from noon to 3 p.m. They were not praying for these illnesses, but for other parts of the body mentioned through a word of knowledge. Yet by faith, she pictured herself laying hands on her parents and received healing for them.
Around seven in the evening, her mother called: she went to the bathroom, and everything happened easily and naturally, something she no longer expected. At that same moment, her father, who was lying in front of the television, felt his legs “burning” intensely. He pulled them out from under the blanket and saw that the large, fluid-filled swelling had gone down and his legs were normal. From their description, the narrator realized that at that moment the power of God had come upon them and restored them where they needed healing.
