Testimony of healing from tetraparesis. A story of restoration, faith, prayer, and the journey to a miracle. This video will inspire those seeking hope, healing, and God's help with difficult diagnoses. Watch to the end and share.
My name is Pavel. You can see that I look perfectly healthy now, but I will briefly tell you how it all happened, and then you will understand just how miraculous it truly is.
Two years ago, in the summer, I had a bad fall and suffered a cervical vertebra injury. As a result, I developed tetraparesis—essentially, complete paralysis. One moment you are lying there and can do nothing but open your eyes. Traumatic shock, intensive care—and the journey of learning how to live from then on begins.
But from the very beginning, I had an inner peace: everything would be all right. I understood that God is the Creator. However, my understanding of Him as a Healer was still very superficial at the time. I thought that certain special actions were required for healing, and I did not really understand how it could happen. Medical care was available, and I began my journey of restoration.
During the first few days, I had several encouraging dreams from the Lord. In one of them, I saw myself free and walking normally. A year later, I had another dream: I felt my right hand functioning properly. In reality, I could not move it at all then—I had lost both sensation and motor function.
I began listening to the Word of God on YouTube through an earbud. Gradually, little by little, restoration began.
During the very first week, I asked them to call a brother from the Church. I could not even type a message on my phone, so I asked others to contact him. He came, anointed me with oil, and prayed. Before praying, he asked:
—What do you want?
I answered:
—Complete restoration. I want to return to a normal life.
We prayed, and from that moment I continued my journey of faith. You can never have too much of the Word of God. When you listen to it, it fills you with the ability to believe. Because the Word is seed.
There is seed that sprouts instantly—as in the Bible, when Jesus prayed and a person was healed that very hour. And there is seed that grows gradually, as it does in ordinary life. This is a process of healing. Scripture says: “They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” It does not say that it must happen that very hour.
Sometimes it is a journey. The main thing is not to doubt and to stand in faith to the end.
Tetraparesis is complete paralysis. A year after I had been bedridden and unable to move, I saw a service at your Father’s Blessing Church and came here. It was in June. Perhaps someone remembers—I came then with a walker.
The sisters immediately came up to me, surrounded me with care, and prayed for me. I did not feel immediate relief. The battle began. But I continued to stand in faith. Then I came to the church again. I came a couple more times in the autumn and was greatly encouraged.
But when the cold weather began, it became more difficult. People who have experienced damage to the central nervous system understand: it is like electricity in the body. When it is cold, everything becomes very difficult. You have to dress warmly even at home.
I held on anyway and believed that everything would be all right.
One night I got out of bed. Usually, it takes a few seconds for the blood to begin circulating normally. I took several steps and suddenly fell.
In all those two years, I had never fallen even once—and then suddenly it happened. It was a shock. By that time, I was already walking around the apartment fairly quickly without a walker and was even going outside.
I fell and somehow made it back to bed. In the morning, I woke up and tried to stand—but I couldn’t. I simply couldn’t. I thought, “How could this happen?”
With great difficulty, I got up. I no longer had a walker—I had gotten rid of it. What was I supposed to do? Once again, I couldn’t walk.
So I took a chair, leaned on it, and started walking—step by step, believing. I made it to the kitchen. And you need to be able to walk to the kitchen, by the way. By evening, I began to come back to life again.
Life still goes on with constant neuropathic pain. So if something hurts slightly somewhere, do not dwell on it too much.
What can I say? Praise the Lord! I listened to the Bible in audio format on YouTube. Put an earbud in your ear—preferably a wireless one—and listen.
I searched for everything related to healing. Believe me, at that time I needed neither money nor relationships—nothing. My only desire was to recover and become useful again. Because simply living on benefits is difficult. You want to be useful to people.
Today, I have already come here on my own two feet, without a walker. I sometimes use a cane—just for safety, for example, when I need to go down the stairs. Otherwise, I can already walk quite briskly. Praise the Lord!
