Last week I simply said, “Lord, I have things to take care of and certain purchases to make. I understand that I don’t have enough money for these things—not anything supernatural, just necessities.” I didn’t name a specific amount; I simply said, “Lord, I need finances. Thank You that they will come.”
Several hours passed, and unexpectedly my former boss from a job I had left 16 years ago called. A year after I left the company, I changed my phone number, but somehow they found my church contact information.
They had a problem: neither the analysts nor the managers could solve it. It was a jewelry company, and large sums of money were involved. He called and said, “We can’t fix the error. Help us.” I was surprised: “How did you find me?” He said, “That’s a separate question.” I replied, “I’ll try.”
I began working on the task—formulas, Excel spreadsheets, everything was in my head. There was also a prayer meeting that day, and I prayed in tongues. Then I took a shower. I stood under the water while the task remained on my mind. Suddenly, the solution came easily, as if by itself.
After the shower, I called my boss and explained how to fix the error. He checked it and said that they could now perform the calculations and transfer the money. I even asked for a little more than originally planned.
In the end, while we were at the prayer meeting, those funds arrived in my account—the amount of one person’s monthly salary. It was earned income for work, but the Lord helped everything come together at exactly that moment. Glory to the Lord!
