After attending the Father’s Blessing Church conference featuring Darrel Stott, revival came and a financial breakthrough followed.
Hello, Father’s Blessing Prayer Center! I want to share a testimony about the glory of God. My name is Yuri. It all began when my brother Sergey and I came from the district hospital, where we had been praying for the sick. We stopped in a parking lot in the city center and sat in the car, talking. Both of us were deeply in debt, facing a financial crisis, and without work. Only very small jobs came up; we do interior finishing and turnkey apartment renovations. In short, I had 15 hryvnias in my pocket, and my brother had even less. Sergey said, “I’m tired of this constant lack of money. Let’s go to Krasnoarmiisk. Darrel Stott is coming, and we’ll receive a financial breakthrough. How long can we keep enduring all this?” I said, “How can we go with the money we have?” He said, “We’ll just take what we have and go. By faith, we’ll fall at God’s man’s feet, grab his legs, and say, ‘I won’t let go until you bless me.’” It was Tuesday evening, and we needed to leave on Friday. Then my mobile phone rang. It was a sister from the Kyiv Father’s Blessing Prayer Center, and we told her that we wanted to get to Darrel Stott, even if only for one day.
She encouraged us, saying, “Believe; God will perform a miracle, and you will go. Stand in faith.” Her words encouraged us, and we decided that somehow we would get there. Then we went home. In the morning, a client called me—I do wedding videography—and we agreed on an advance payment. We had enough money for the trip. We arrived in Krasnoarmiisk and attended the service. We were greatly blessed by what Dad Darrel said. Darrel prayed for us, we left already drunk in the Spirit, and traveled home.
On Sunday we came to the meeting, and then it began! As the pastor, I came out to start the service, but we got into some kind of conversation, and 30 minutes passed. Then I turned on some music. We have no musicians. We began to sing. I started praying, and it began… Everyone slowly started laughing, sensing drunkenness in the Spirit. I could barely pray, constantly breaking into laughter, and it spread to others in the room. We began praying for one another. People fell to the floor laughing. Eventually, we sat back down, and I began telling them where we had gone and about Darrel Stott. On the table were a laptop, a bottle of oil, and anointed water. I don’t even know why I took the oil, but I began anointing my hands with it. Then it came over me—I couldn’t speak; my tongue became tangled. I BECAME COMPLETELY DRUNK and began laughing. Brother Sergey said, “Don’t touch the oil anymore.” I went to them and wiped my oil-covered hands over each person’s face. And it began again… Laughter swept over everyone for about 25 minutes. We simply laughed, that was all. There were no sermons—just a few testimonies at the end. We went home drunk in the Spirit.
That evening we called one another and laughed on the phone, shouting and rejoicing: “WE RECEIVED IT.”
Before this, I had no work orders. On Sunday morning, a client called and offered me a small job at first. I said I would start immediately—on Monday. The job turned out to be larger than I had expected. The client kept adding more work. I asked another brother, who had been sitting at home without work, to help me. It turned out that no one in his household had any money at all. We earned 1,072 hryvnias in two days.
On Monday I was walking home from work, and at the supermarket checkout there was a man with a cane standing behind me. I decided to wait for him by the exit and pray for his healing. I prayed, and the pain went away. We were headed in the same direction. He lived a little farther away than I did. We walked and talked about Jesus for the entire 15–20 minutes. We agreed to meet again. I gave him a booklet. By the way, a blood clot had broken loose and become lodged in his leg. It caused pain, but after the prayer he walked the entire way without his cane. He kept wondering how such a thing could happen.
I came home and began talking with God, thanking Him, singing, and worshiping. I wept, sensing the presence of God and His love, and was drunk in the Spirit again. Brother Sergey and I called each other again and laughed over the phone; we were simply overwhelmed BY THE MEMORY OF DARRELL AND OUR SUNDAY MEETING.
On Tuesday, today, while I was walking to work, I prayed for two elderly people, about 70 years old—a husband and wife, both using canes. The woman had osteoporosis. After praying, I took her hands and told her to walk without her cane. She walked. Then I prayed for her husband, who had pain in his knees, and he felt better.
Further on, I met a woman with a cane. At first I walked past her, but then I turned around, called her, and began talking. It turned out that she had had her meniscus removed. I said that God would give her a new meniscus. I commanded the pain to leave, and it left. I told her a little about Christ and gave her a pamphlet. She continued on without her cane, amazed that the pain had disappeared immediately.
On the way, I became drunk in the Spirit again, and it kept intensifying. When I arrived at a client’s office—and he is a brother in Christ—his secretary asked me to pray for her spine. The pain left, while I could no longer stand on my feet. Throughout the day, I prayed for various people, since it was an office building (we were carrying out electrical rewiring there, so we entered different offices).
I came home and began to cry after watching the testimony of a young girl’s healing from bone cancer. I was so happy for her and felt the love of Jesus. How great His love for us is—none of this can be explained; something is happening inside. The same thing is happening with Brother Sergey. I do not yet know about the others; tomorrow at the home group I will learn what happened with everyone.
I simply received confidence in God, in the fact that He greatly desires to bless us. Boldness, courage, joy, and drunkenness in the Spirit came upon me. Thank you for your ministry; please thank Dad Darrell. I am deeply grateful to God for such people. Thank you, Dad Darrell, for ministering to us. We will pray for you, that you may minister to many more people.
Respectfully, Pastor Yuri, Life Spirit Church.
