Last year, my daughter got married. The newlyweds decided to buy a car and registered it in my name—for “convenience,” using a power of attorney. I could never have imagined what it would lead to.
Some time later, I received a letter: an enormous debt and a court order to seize the car. It turned out that the first owner had taken out a large loan against the car and failed to repay it. The car was illegally resold several times, and eventually I became its last documented owner. I was left with a debt of 15 million hryvnias.
Letters began arriving, along with enforcement proceedings and the garnishment of my salary. They took almost everything from me—I literally did not know how I would live. It was terrible pressure. I lay at home, not knowing what to do.
Meanwhile, my daughter and her husband were in a car accident—the car was wrecked. Thank God, they survived. The car was seized and put up for auction. It was sold, but the proceeds were insufficient to repay the debt. I was told that they could take my apartment as well.

Then one evening, my lawyer called and said, “You can rejoice—everything is closed.” The buyer finally transferred the car into his own name, my registration was removed, and the debt was canceled. All the funds that had been withheld were returned to me.
When I saw that the debt was no longer in the registers, I cried and thanked God. He did the impossible. He is the living God who answers and turns evil into good. I give Him all the glory.
