A miracle from the Lord. God gave them a child and preserved its life! Excerpt from the September 2024 conference of Father’s Blessing Church, September 2024
You prayed well. Everything is fine with you!
We want to testify about this miracle from God that the Lord has given us. (As the young woman spoke, her husband held their tiny sleeping daughter in one arm.) Exactly one year ago, I had an ectopic pregnancy. We wanted a child and prayed, but I ended up in the hospital. I was bleeding heavily, and it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy in my left fallopian tube. I had surgery, and my left fallopian tube was removed. Of course, we were deeply distressed, but we continued to trust God. It was a difficult period in our lives.
We were told that it would take three months to recover, and then we could try again. We waited for everything inside me to recover and heal. Then, in faith, we began praying again and blessing our future child. We tried, and I went to my gynecologist, who told me some very discouraging things. She did not like something. She examined me and said that there might be some germs or bacteria that could again lead to an ectopic pregnancy.
But I understood that we had already begun trying in faith. There was no turning back. All we could do was pray and trust God. After the doctor said those things, we began praying very fervently. We simply stood in faith. I stood on the Word. “Lord, we serve You. You said that there would be no barrenness.” And hallelujah! Here we are with a living testimony. (The woman pointed to her newborn daughter.)
We are standing here because the Lord truly is faithful! That is exactly what I said in prayer during that difficult week: “Lord, if You give us a child and everything is all right, she is Yours. Your child. We dedicate her to You already.”
Exactly one week later, I went to another doctor. She said, “Go for an ultrasound.” I realized that I was probably pregnant. I had a positive test. The ultrasound specialist, seeing me for the first time, said, “You prayed well. Everything is fine with you!” Hallelujah! Glory to God. “Your embryo is already in the uterus. It is developing. Everything is fine. The heartbeat is present.” So, glory to God! The delivery was also natural and spontaneous. The Lord is good!
