This testimony tells of the mercy of God and how He helps people when they believe and pray.
Five years ago, one of the sisters in our Church was told that she would not be able to have children. She had a very difficult pregnancy, and afterward they could not have children for five years. The Lord blessed them with a child, and the girl is now almost two years old. Recently, she found out that she was pregnant for the second time. But she began bleeding and had to see a doctor. An ultrasound showed that everything was bad: the fetus had died, and surgery and a D&C were needed. They called the prayer line, where God’s people prayed for them. They felt led to go to another clinic, where the doctor said that the six-week-old baby had a heartbeat and everything was fine. The baby was saved! Since she had to remain in the hospital for observation, we decided to hold a home group in her hospital room.
A young woman was also lying in the neighboring bed; she was eight weeks pregnant. She was constantly suffering from bleeding and severe pain. While she was given medication, everything was fine, but when its effect wore off, the bleeding returned. We prayed for her, and she began to cry. Later, we learned that she had once walked with the Lord but had turned away from Him several years earlier.
This meeting, this home group, reminded her that God loves her and does not condemn her. When she applied the anointed cloth, her body began to burn. In the morning, she discovered that she had no bleeding or pain. Glory to the Lord! (Kseniya Orlova, 29, Krasnoarmeysk, Father’s Blessing Church)
