Proverbs 31:10–12
10 Who can find a virtuous wife? Her worth is far above rubies; 11 the heart of her husband safely trusts her, and he will have no lack of gain; 12 she does him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31:25–30
25 Strength and honor are her clothing; she rejoices in time to come. 26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and loving instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” 30 Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a wife who fears the Lord is worthy of praise.

He who finds a [good] wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord. [He who drives away a good wife drives away happiness, but he who keeps an adulteress is foolish and ungodly.]

House and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.

22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib He had taken from Adam and brought her to Adam. 23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken from man.” 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
1 Peter 3:1–4
1 Likewise, you wives, submit to your own husbands, so that even if some of them do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they see your pure and reverent lives. 3 Let your adornment not be merely outward—the braiding of hair, the wearing of gold jewelry, or fine clothing—4 but the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
Ephesians 5:22–24
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord, 23 because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the Church, and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Now as the Church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Colossians 3:18
Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 7:3–4
3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but her husband does; likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but his wife does.
1 Peter 3:7
Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel, showing them honor as fellow heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
