Proverbs 6:6–11
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; observe its ways and become wise. 7 It has no chief, overseer, or ruler; 8 yet it prepares its bread in summer and gathers its food during the harvest. [Or go to the bee and learn how industrious it is and what honorable work it does; both kings and commoners use its labors for health; it is loved and renowned by all. Though weak in strength, it is honored for its wisdom.] 9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to lie down—11 and your poverty will come upon you like a traveler, and your need like an armed robber. [But if you are not lazy, your harvest will come like a spring, while poverty will flee far from you.]
Proverbs 13:4
