Lesson 7. Faith. Biblical foundational principles of financial well-being. Everyone who applies these principles will have financial provision for themselves and for ministering to others. This school was compiled by Dmitriy Leo, senior pastor of Father’s Blessing Church.
Faith makes it possible to have the impossible.
Heb. 11:1: Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen.
It is impossible to please God based on natural abilities and capabilities. There is nothing special about natural qualities: this is how most people who do not know God live.
God is pleased with people who choose a life of faith—beyond natural abilities and capabilities.
Heb. 11:6: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because everyone who comes to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.
A life of faith does not challenge God, for He is almighty. A life of faith challenges a person: does he want to live like most people, or does he want to have much more?
We can have everything we desire (as long as it does not contradict God’s will for us), and we have access to God’s grace, but we receive everything through faith.
Romans 5:2: Through Him we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand…
Material prosperity is an act of grace, not a reward for good behavior. And only faith gives us access to this prosperity.
If we view material things as a reward, it is difficult for us to live by faith, because we understand that before receiving something, we need to do something. However, if we view material things as grace, it is easier for us to believe for more and act according to our faith.
God delights in people who look to His possibilities and trust Him.
Jeremiah 32:27: Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?
Jeremiah 32:27: Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?
A life of faith always involves risk, but there is no other way for us to receive more.
Mark 11:24: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Everything means everything, including material blessings.
