Dmitriy Leo. This is what we received at the retreat regarding healing

September 21, 2018

At this retreat, the pastors and senior ministers of Father’s Blessing Church withdrew to seek God and focused on healing the sick. The main theme of the prayers was: “Lord, what should we know and do so that more people receive healing and deliverance?”

Everything we received through prayer, the Bible, dreams, and visions, we immediately wrote down in a notebook. At the end of the retreat, we brought it all together into one list. We are not sure that everything we received is intended for everyone, since most of us are different and serve in different ways. However, this information may be useful to those who are also seeking answers to similar questions.

What we received at the retreat regarding healing

1. After asking the Lord what we should know about healing in order to see more results, the answer came: “James, chapter 5. You do not fully understand what is written there.” After studying this chapter from beginning to end, we discovered many new instructions to which people need to pay attention.

2. Many people confess familiar Bible verses concerning protection, healing, deliverance, and so on. However, the Bible contains incomparably more passages that can be used as weapons of declaration, protection, and victory. When studying the Bible, we need to pay attention to such verses, write them down, meditate on them, and then apply them.

3. The promise recorded in Exodus 23:25–26 is much stronger than we think. “Ex. 23:25 You shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you. 26 No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.” We need to stand on this promise with even greater confidence and teach it to other people who also serve the Lord.

4. People in the Church need to be inspired, guided, and led in matters of physical health. This is no less important than the spiritual aspect of healing.

5. People need to step away from the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves for 2–3 days in an atmosphere of prayer, the Word, and faith. Periodically, people who are seeking healing should be gathered for 2–3 days in a convenient and peaceful place. Throughout this time, they should remain in prayer and the Word. During this time, such people should be ministered to by trained ministers who are filled with faith and power. This will help those in need of healing receive without hindrance. We called this ministry a “healing and deliverance retreat.”

6. We received the following word: “Isaiah 56:2 Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds fast to it, who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” We did not receive a precise answer as to whether this concerns people who have not yet been healed or those who minister to the sick. However, we decided to continue meditating on it and asking for further revelation and personal guidance.

7. Creating a single place for healing the sick (for example, establishing a healing center) will not solve all the problems and is inconvenient for people who live in other cities and countries. It would be a burden for everyone. We need to involve, equip, and lead churches in different cities and countries that are ready and active in ministering to the sick and those who are not free.

8. Some people stopped being sick only after changing their attitude toward their bodies and taking responsibility for their own health. There are many testimonies. Such testimonies should be documented and shared with people who are still sick. Some people need to take this particular path in order to recover.

9. Not all sick people can come to a church service. There are various reasons for this. If we pray live, it will increase the number of people who watch, receive, and experience healing.

10. Prayer for healing will not help everyone. Such people need to be led through deliverance from demons.

11. Many people do not know how to walk and operate in authority. This is why they fail when it comes to healing.

There were also other revelations we received at this retreat regarding ministry and the Church.

A New Retreat Soon

By the way, if you are a pastor, assistant pastor, or primary ministry leader, you can join a special retreat we will hold October 1–4 in Irpin, Kyiv Region.

We withdraw because we want change. Something must be done to bring it about. We want more, and we are awakening to God so that He may awaken us through the Holy Spirit. At this retreat, we will seek guidance for our lives and churches for the coming season: how we should move in the supernatural with miracles and signs.

We do not want the hustle and bustle; we want to withdraw and rest, so we decided not to invite many people. We plan to have no more than 20 people, or perhaps no more than 12. Accommodation and excellent meals, with a forest and park nearby—and, most importantly, it is affordable.

If you want to be spiritually renewed or rest emotionally and physically, you are welcome.

With love, Dmitriy Leo
