Dmitriy Leo. What I Think About People Moving from Cities to Rural Areas

August 4, 2021

Lately, people have been hearing me speak more often about preparing for the events to come. I speak plainly: we need to prepare now, not when all the doors close. The purpose of this publication is to explain my position, because I do not want people to misinterpret my actions and words. So let me clarify.

Dmitriy Leo. What I Think About People Moving from Cities to Rural Areas

Here is my position.

If you believe you should remain in the city, that is fine. If you believe you should leave and live on the land, that is fine. You can live anywhere and serve anywhere—if you are willing to.

I am currently moderating our internal “eco-settlement” group. Naturally, information has already spread beyond it, and people who are not involved have received inaccurate information.

The information that I am calling on everyone to urgently leave the cities is untrue.

I equally support, and will continue to support, those who remain in the city and those who live outside it. Both are normal. We must not divide people into two camps; we will lose much because of this, and it is not pleasing to God.

On the contrary, we need to build bridges between the two groups now. In the future, everyone will benefit from this. Let me put it another way.

The division will be very strong, ranging from criticism to hatred. But those who preserve themselves from this evil will prevail and be greatly blessed.

The Lord has given us instructions to support both groups.

Therefore, some will remain in the city, while others will leave, and it is not our place to say where and for whom it is better to live. It is each person’s choice.

It will be difficult for everyone (both in the cities and outside them), and everyone will need true humility and genuine patience. However, some people will decide to endure the challenges in the cities, while others will endure the challenges beyond them.

What is my role and position in this whole process?

God has called me to minister to people. Therefore, I think equally about those who will remain in the cities and those who will leave.

At this time, we are thinking about how to remain effective amid the restrictions and challenges that lie ahead.

We are actively seeking solutions for people who remain in the cities, as well as for those who plan to leave. This is why we do what we do. I took the initiative to help both groups.

This is also why we are now talking about “healing rooms (homes)” throughout the country and about “eco-settlements” in the country’s clean regions. More precisely, we are talking about moving those who wish to do so from the cities “to the land.”

So we need to bless both options and the people who remain in the cities as well as those who want to leave. This is the only way we will all benefit.

With love, Dmitriy Leo
