Where there are miracles, both supporters and opponents appear… it’s quite amusing. When nothing happens in a church, people criticize you; when something happens, they start criticizing you; but when a lot is happening, you will be criticized a lot… it turns out to be quite entertaining. In this article, Dmitriy Leo answers questions about miracles.
Where miracles take place, many questions arise. The task of the leading leaders involved in miracles is to provide answers, dispel rumors, and strengthen others in faith. I have gathered all the questions together and will answer them briefly and simply.
– How do you know that healings come from God and not from the devil?
– Oh, it’s very simple. The Holy Bible tells us who initiates life and healing, and who initiates pain, illness, and problems. Delusions enslave people, but the truth sets them free. Through demons, the devil creates disorder everywhere, while Jesus brings everything into order through the Church. The devil is evil—God is good. According to the Holy Bible, Jesus showed us through His ministry who does what. He came to destroy the WORKS of the devil. That is why Jesus set people free from the works of the devil, healed, delivered, cleansed, raised the dead, and ultimately gave His life for them. Glory to the Lord!
– What if God is not going to heal someone?
– This is similar to the previous question. God has already granted healing to humanity, and it is His will for people to receive this salvation and deliverance through faith in His Son. But if a person has barriers to receiving healing, they may not receive it immediately. But let’s look at this problem from an optimistic perspective—if not today, then tomorrow. Often, the problem is not with God but with the person. God has more reasons to heal a person than that person has reasons not to receive healing. Most often, such people simply need sound teaching, and everything will be ‘very good.’
– You often talk about faith, but surely that is not the only thing needed for healing?
– God has already granted healing to people through Jesus Christ. Healing is a fact accomplished 2,011 years ago, and the question now is not healing but receiving it. Everything that comes from God is received by faith. Do we receive salvation by faith? Yes. Then we receive healing by faith as well. But there is more. A person receives salvation through personal faith, while healing can also be received through the faith of others. The Holy Bible is full of such cases. Oh, this inspires me so much. The sick can be healed even if they do not believe; they are simply healed through the faith of those who pray for them. We see this every week. Glory to the Lord!
– They say that T. B. Joshua imparted an anointing to you?
– T. B. Joshua and people like him activate us for the works of God; they release us into greater things. I still don’t fully understand what is happening, but after prayers with the laying on of hands by God’s anointed ministers, changes take place in people’s lives. Joshua prayed for me; he imparted, I received, and the whole church changed. What should I call it… I don’t know. I know one thing for sure: all glory to the Lord!
– What changed in the structure of your church after receiving the anointing?
- Focus the church community not on itself, but on people’s needs for salvation, healing, and deliverance.
- Build and nourish a “spiritual,” rather than “soulish,” church community.
- The church community should strengthen both corporate and personal prayer.
- Begin a nighttime meeting where we can sharpen our spiritual tools, learn the Word, and grow in faith.
- Equip the church community with absolutely everything necessary for the Good News, healing, and casting out demons.
- Establish people in faith and focus them on the Lord.
- Raise the authority of the Word of God above all other sources.
- Raise the standards for those who serve as ministers.
- Invest in people who are faithful and obedient to the vision.
- Use objects and liquids on which anointing has been released more boldly in ministry.
I will not dwell on this in detail, since we received it for our church community, and it may not be useful to you. This does not mean that anything is wrong here; it is simply that each church community has its own age and potential. We need to understand God's timing for everything. God's timing is the best time.
– How did you receive the anointing to perform miracles of healing?
– Through the Word of God, we have all received the anointing to perform miracles of healing. We are all anointed—you, me, and everyone who is born again. Whoever believes His Word and acts on it becomes the one through whom what should happen takes place. Speaking of the practical aspect, God's prophet T. B. Joshua released this anointing when we were with him. After that, the level of miracles and healings began to grow steadily. That is why we need to visit places of revival, so that God's people can release us into greater things. I call this “activating the anointing.”
– Does a sacrificial gift of honor affect receiving the anointing, or is it God's plan?
– Judge for yourselves. On one of our trips to the Synagogue, Vladimir Muntianu was with us. Volodya came for the anointing, and he brought the prophet a substantial financial offering. This is a correct biblical principle of honor. On that trip, the prophet released Vladimir into greater miracles, and that is exactly what happened. Vladimir Muntianu's ministry began to grow greatly from that moment. This is how all anointed ministers act. In the same way, I suggested that the church collect a substantial offering for the prophet, so that I would not be the only one to receive, but everyone would. I brought Prophet Joshua a good, “hefty” offering, and now the whole church community operates in miracles and signs, not just me. An offering is not a condition, but God certainly takes notice of offerings of honor.
– What do you consider most important for the growth of miracles?
– Growth in faith. If there is no growth in faith, there will be no growth in miracles either. In fact, it is not about miracles, but about saving people from sin and the works of the devil. Salvation includes deliverance from sin, sickness, and demons. A person of God must continually nourish their faith; then it will grow. For example, our services have changed from ordinary services into services of miracles. We expect miracles, believe for them, and pray for them, and they happen.
– Where do more miracles take place—in the church or outside it?
– Of course, outside it. In church we learn, and then we go and put this into practice. Naturally, if people come to church to be healed, they receive their miracle there, or receive it later. For example, one person who came to us for prayer saw no visible results at the meeting, but upon returning home discovered that the tumor had dissolved. In general, the place for miracles is outside the church building, because there are more people there who need salvation and healing.
– What is the purpose of anointed items if you can pray for people yourselves?
– Unbelievers readily receive a miracle through anointed objects, while at the same time not wanting anyone to pray for them personally. The reason is people's personal pride or individuality. For example, not every company director will immediately agree to have Vasya the plumber pray for his prostate problems to go away. These are personal matters, and not everyone can speak about them openly. But nearly everyone accepts the offer to use anointed water to receive healing. The main thing is to explain to such people that Jesus Christ is behind it, and that He wants to deal with these people personally.
– What is the greatest miracle you have seen at your meetings?
– That is a question I am not ready to answer. Every miracle is a miracle from the Lord, and every miracle deserves to be treated equally. If a person has suffered from something for years and is then healed after prayer, it no longer matters whether it was cancer, hemorrhoids, or joint pain. We teach people to treat small and great miracles alike, with equal gratitude.
– It is written that there will be many false miracles. Aren’t you afraid?
– We are not told to beware of miracles; we are told to test those who perform miracles by their fruit. This is in Matthew chapter 7. Miracles have always accompanied God’s people, according to the Holy Bible. But fruit shows who is standing before us—whether a person is a person of God or not. We are not afraid of miracles.
– What is the best definition of faith?
– I like these: “Faith is the action of the Word of God placed in us by the Holy Spirit.” “The more you meditate on the Word of God, the more knowledge of God you receive. Faith comes together with knowledge.” “Faith is built on facts from the Word of God.” “Faith is believing in what we cannot see but which truly exists.” “Faith allows what God has to come to us.” “Faith gives a person the boldness to move beyond natural abilities and physical laws.”
– Is it right to advertise miracles, or is that part of God?
– When a person receives a miracle, the natural thing is to tell others about it. Others pass it on, and many people learn what is happening. This is a natural process. It was the same during Jesus’ ministry. We do the same today; we simply tell one another not only in person but also use every possible means, so the information spreads faster. The healing revival of the 1940s and ’50s spread precisely through newspapers, radio, and television. I understand your question. The main thing is not to promote yourself and your ministry under the banner of miracles. I believe this is what causes many ministries and anointed ministers to weaken or even fall. In everything, true glory must be given to the Lord.
– Whom do you look to regarding healing among those living today?
– Prophet T. B. Joshua and Curry Blake. This does not mean that I do not love others; their methods and approaches to healing are simply closest to me.
– Can other people for whom you pray also perform miracles?
– Yes, of course. The Holy Bible gives us a definition of the work of the anointing through us. It is Luke 4:18. He anoints us for a purpose: “to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” If you intend to do this, the anointing will flow through you so that it can happen. This is what T. B. Joshua teaches. When I ask him about the impartation of anointing, he says that if you are ready to operate in the anointing and pay the price, God will fill you anywhere, even in a restroom. We pray for everyone and impart it to them, but those who go and pray for others are the ones who see the results of this anointing.
– Does your wife also operate in miracles?
– Oh yes, no less than I do. The whole church is moving together in miracles. This has come upon our entire church. And it will come upon your church if you will only earnestly desire it.
