Unusual things began happening to the team serving in Pakistan. Spiritual warfare is raging!
Another interesting event took place on the evening of the first day, but we did not find out what had happened until the morning of the second day.
Part of the team was invited to minister at one of the churches in Karachi. Pastor Ruslan ministered the Word and then prayed for the sick together with Viktor and Natalia. Muslim families attended the service and received genuine miracles from Jesus. For example, one boy could not say the word “daddy,” but after prayer he began to speak. There were various healings at the service, which we will tell you about later.
The YMCA grounds, where the crusade will be held, belong to Christians. No Christian events had been held there for three years because criminal organizations had taken the grounds from the Christians. Recently, the grounds were returned to Christian ownership, and our crusade will be a powerful testimony and sign to Christians that God is with us.
The YMCA grounds are located in Karachi’s Christian quarter. From a security standpoint, it is the right place to hold the crusade. It is also the largest open area in Karachi, capable of accommodating tens of thousands of people at once.
But there are complications.
It is not permitted by the city authorities to put up large billboards. Recently, all the news programs showed two incidents in which Christians were allegedly involved in the shooting of Muslims and church bombings. I believe this is a provocation. Real Christians would not do such things. However, because of these incidents, Christians were prohibited from advertising the crusade in the central parts of the city and from putting up large billboards. We had to put up only ordinary posters, and only in the Christian quarter. Therefore, we are not relying heavily on outdoor advertising.
It is clear why this is happening. The spirit of Islam sees that Christians are multiplying in Pakistan, and that is why such things are happening.
One evening, a “guest” came to the hotel room of one of the pastors on our team. This was not a visit in the physical body, but in the spirit. Whenever the pastor closed his eyes, an old, heavyset woman stood before him. When he opened his eyes, the woman was no longer visible. The woman’s face was aggressive, and she emitted a growl like a beast. The pastor began to pray and cast out this demon in the Name of Jesus. We understood that the spirit of Islam had come. During our corporate prayer, we also considered that it could have been a spirit of witchcraft. Sorcerers commonly use this kind of intimidation.
During prayer, one of the pastors received guidance that God was sending legions of angels to help us. We gathered together and prayed about it.
The entire team is in good spiritual shape and preparing for the main crusade. Meanwhile, ministry is taking place constantly at the hotel.
We see the brothers praying for the sick at the reception desk, in the rooms, in the restaurant, and so on. There are already testimonies of healing, which we will write about later.
In the evening, Pastors Ilya and Dmitriy joined a meeting of the key crusade coordinators. The pastors gathered there were given recommendations that will help make the services safe and effective.
