A brief overview from Dmitriy Leo about arriving in Karachi, Pakistan, the events of the first day, and preparations for the crusade.
We arrived in Karachi early in the morning. It was wonderful to see many pastors who had come especially to the airport to meet and welcome us. They also accompanied us to the hotel.
After settling into the hotel, we had our first meeting with the crusade organizers, where we discussed the technical aspects of conducting prayers, testimonies, television work, and various ministries.
At this crusade, we are focusing on the salvation of Muslims through the miracles and signs of Jesus. The style and organization of the ministry will differ from those of other crusades organized previously.
We are expecting many powerful miracles and ask everyone to pray for this. Karachi cannot be impressed by an ordinary crusade and miracles; to awaken and set the people on fire, mass and extraordinary miracles are needed.
It is very hot and humid outside (36°C in the shade), so we are trying to stay indoors more often.
At the moment, there are five of us in Karachi, and in a couple of days, another 20 members of our team from Russia will join us. A total of 20 people will minister.
Spiritually, we feel well, although we are somewhat tired from the flights and various trips around Karachi. We had to change hotels for various reasons. It is more expensive, but safer.
Tonight, there will be a healing service at one of the churches whose pastor is part of the crusade's main organizing team. Pastor-evangelist Ruslan Bogolyubiv from Ukraine will minister the Word.
Tomorrow, the main organizers and preachers, Ilya Fedorov and Dmitriy Leo, will meet with the crusade preparation team. Five hundred people are expected at this meeting, where various organizational matters will be addressed.
Friends and partners, thank you for your support and prayers. We will share daily updates on how things are going so that you will know what to pray for.
