A 13-year-old girl fell off her bicycle and broke her leg. Two weeks later, during a follow-up X-ray while her leg was still in a cast, it was discovered that the bones were healing incorrectly. Her mother says that one day she fell asleep next to a phone playing an online prayer and felt the vibration of the sound. She then taped the phone to her daughter’s cast, plugged it in to charge, so that the power of the word would touch the cast. The phone remained there for about an hour and a half.
The next day, they went to have the cast removed: the doctors were supposed to realign the bones so they would heal properly and apply a new cast. The mother insisted on another X-ray, and, according to her, the image was perfect: the bone was healthy.
