I began experiencing discomfort and went to a clinic. They told me I had a gallbladder polyp that I could live with while having periodic checkups. It was time for another examination, but I couldn’t get a referral from my regular doctor. So I went to another clinic, where they examined me again and said that the polyp was growing and could develop into a cancerous tumor, so I needed surgery to remove my gallbladder.
I took their advice but did not rush into surgery—I asked people to pray, and I prayed myself. About a year passed this way.
Then I went back to my regular doctor—not to the clinic where they had recommended surgery. He examined me and said, “Where did your polyp go? It’s gone.” I replied that we had prayed and God had healed me. He looked at me skeptically but had to acknowledge the fact: the polyp had really been there, and now it was gone. He said it was a genuine miracle and that it was good I hadn’t had the surgery, because God did not create the gallbladder for no reason. Glory to the Lord! Lilia
