Strange! Could God really use this for healing?! Excerpt from the “The Power of Praise and Thanksgiving” conference dated November 2, 2024
A minister from a church wrote to us with this testimony. He watches the “Father’s Blessing” broadcasts. He likes to take the Word, listen to worship, and serve in his church. He said that in his church he had been observing people who were very ill. He noticed an elderly woman who came to their services all the time. She sat in the back, but there was something wrong with her body. There was some problem that was visibly apparent. When he approached her, she said, “I haven’t been examined.” She was not planning to see doctors. It was clear from observation that she had swelling—swelling in the upper part of her body, perhaps in her lungs or somewhere else. She had been a church member for quite a long time. He began praying for her healing and asking the Lord what else could be done in her case. No ideas came to him. At one service, while watching a service from Father’s Blessing Church, he was deeply touched by the praise. The praise touched him so deeply that he experienced the Lord’s presence. He made a player for the elderly woman and recorded on it praise songs sung in the church. He said that the songs differed slightly from what was sung in their church.
It was more worship of thanksgiving. The recording lasted several hours. The elderly woman did not object. The minister suggested that she turn on the recording and listen when she was alone at home. She listened for a week. She listened for a second week. In the third week, she fell asleep with the praise recording playing. She woke up when the song reached an exclamation, and began repeating everything that was sung in the song. As she repeated it again and again, she felt physical relief in her body. Visually, nothing had changed. Another week later, she was no longer listening—she was singing. After four weeks, she woke up and saw that the swelling had completely disappeared from her body. “I fell asleep with it in my body in the evening. I didn’t go to the bathroom during the night. In other words, I was physically transformed!” Glory to the Lord, she now feels wonderful! The elderly woman comes to her church and praises the Lord.
Another older woman from that home group had problems with her legs. She walked with crutches. When she heard about the healing, she asked, “Give me the player for a week.” The elderly woman agreed and gave her the player for an entire week. This woman knew and understood that she needed to praise the Lord. She praised the Lord for an entire week. Then she testified: “I have never been grateful in my life. I have never spoken so many words to God in my entire life. I prayed and was grateful in my heart, but what came out of my mouth was supernatural—the gratitude that came out of my spirit.” Glory to the Lord. This woman now walks to the home group without a single crutch. Glory to our Lord!
