He began to hear
Brother Nikolai’s testimony. About two years ago, he was in an accident and was seriously injured. Doctors determined that his hearing had deteriorated by 45 percent. There was a loud ringing and noise in his head, pressing so intensely that he would play music loudly to distract himself from it. He could hear only halfway, but that was just the beginning. I couldn’t make out the words when people spoke in a normal tone. I asked them to speak more slowly and loudly. At the home group, I couldn’t always make out what people were saying. Yesterday at the group, sometime after praising and thanking our Lord, I noticed that I could hear better and make out the words more clearly. The echo is gone. Before, sounds scattered like birds or blended into a jumble. But now I can hear.
Despite his poor hearing, he continued coming to the home group. He believed that God is the Healer.
His bruised kidney stopped hurting
There was another problem after the accident. His left kidney had been bruised. He could sleep only on his back and left side. When he slept on his right side, he felt his left kidney drop, and it would burn and hurt badly.
A month ago, he listened to healing music recommended by a man of God for just nine minutes. Then he went about his household chores. When he went to bed, it was time to turn onto his right side. He lay there and lay there, but the kidney didn’t hurt—only tingled a little! Thank You, Lord, and it has not hurt since; it has been a month already.
