A testimony of healing for a pregnant woman and the importance of prayer support. There is power in unity, and there is power in the prayer of agreement.
After the annual “Receive the Fire” conference, the woman visited Father’s Blessing Church, where she was deeply encouraged and moved by people’s testimonies of miracles and the glory of God. There she also learned that the church has a website and a Prayer Center that she could call or write to with her prayer needs.
Several days later, the woman learned of a sudden tragedy: her niece, who lives in Germany and was six months pregnant, developed kidney failure. Her body would not accept any IV drips or medications; she was vomiting, and so on. It was no longer only the baby’s life that was at stake, but also her own.
The woman recalled:
“I called my sister and said, first of all, we need to calm down; second, you need to go to your daughter and introduce her to Jesus. Because only Jesus is needed here, and she needs to say ‘yes’ to Him so that God can act fully. We need to make a decision quickly…”
She herself contacted the Father’s Blessing prayer hotline for prayer support. She submitted her prayer need and, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, also wrote specifically what she wanted and how she wanted it to happen. Then she said to her sister:
“They wrote to us and are praying for us. I have seen miracles in this church; I have heard these people’s testimonies in this church. I have seen their sincerity and simplicity in how God works. God is alive. He will answer. He will not abandon us. Now you and I must agree with what I wrote—we need to affirm it: that she will carry the baby to term, everything will be restored, and everything will be fine.”
Two more days later, God revealed His glory: the niece passed a kidney stone, everything was restored, and she was discharged from the hospital—without outside help from doctors or medications.
Glory to the Lord.
He is the Healer!
