A venous ulcer appeared suddenly after a hot day. After taking a hot shower, I felt severe pain and burning in my left leg. When I looked, I saw that the skin had broken open—a fluid was leaking from the wound. I realized it was a venous ulcer caused by weak blood vessels.
Fear overwhelmed me: I pictured relatives who had suffered from such ulcers for years. They lived long lives, but their wounds never healed despite treatment. I was afraid the same thing would happen to me.
But then inner peace came. I remembered how many times God had already performed a miracle in my life—healing me from chronic bronchitis, asthmatic symptoms, problems with my maxillary sinuses, varicose veins, and type 2 diabetes. Surely it is not difficult for Him to heal an ulcer?
