The prolactin hormone level returned to normal after prayer. A young woman shared her joyful testimony.
I could not become pregnant because of elevated prolactin levels. The pituitary gland is responsible for prolactin production. As I understood from doctors’ lectures, the most common cause of elevated hormone levels is a pituitary microadenoma. The story began in 2008, when I got married. We were unable to conceive right away. I went to the doctor, and she gave me a list of tests. As a result, it turned out that my prolactin level was elevated. It does not interfere with living, but it can be the reason for infertility. I was prescribed pills, and I became pregnant right away.
Unfortunately, at six weeks, the baby stopped developing; the same prolactin may have been the cause. I did nothing for a year, although my husband and I were still unable to have children. Then I went to the doctor again, and was given another list of tests. The result: everything was fine except for prolactin—it was elevated. I was diagnosed with hyperprolactinemia. They said this hormone was the reason I could not become pregnant, since everything else was normal, and told me to take pills. I took them, had my blood tested again, and my prolactin level was even higher than before. Then more pills, different ones this time, followed by another blood test—the same thing! And so it continued until this summer!
This summer, I decided to go as a guest to the “Party by the Sea” Youth Camp. The Lord arranged everything, including vacation time and money for my husband and me—in short, He blessed us for this trip. I was actually going for another reason, but my mother insisted that I ask Dmitriy and Inna to pray for my healing. They prayed. On Saturday, I had my hormone levels tested again. All my hormone levels were normal, including prolactin. Moreover, it was not at the borderline of the normal range, but exactly in the middle of the range of values. Glory to Jesus.
