Hallelujah! Hello, church. My name is Rano, I am 37 years old, and I have been part of Father’s Blessing Church for five years. I want to give glory to the Lord. Lord, You are great! You truly are a God of miracles!
During my pregnancy, I was referred for an eye examination. The ophthalmologist was concerned about the condition of the retinas in both eyes and referred me to a retina specialist. Two months later, I went for a consultation. Throughout that time, we prayed and stood in faith that everything was fine with my retinas and that no intervention would be necessary.
On the 23rd, last Saturday, I was told during my appointment that there were retinal tears in both eyes and that urgent surgery—laser photocoagulation—was needed. The doctor warned me not to delay because there was a risk of retinal detachment, which would pose a serious threat to my vision.
But I did not accept this diagnosis. I continued to stand in faith, thanking the Lord every day that my retina was completely restored and that I had a new, healthy retina. I prayed, anointed my eyelids with oil, applied anointed cloth, and thanked God for healing, declaring that I would testify to His glory.
Then, on Thursday the 28th, I came in for surgery. The surgeon began the examination. I could not see well because my pupils were greatly dilated, but I could sense that she was confused. She said, “Let’s go to the operating room; I’ll take another look.”
In the operating room, she carefully examined my eyes again and said, “Let me show you a few laser flashes so you understand how this works.” I knew that with my diagnosis, there should have been about one hundred flashes in each eye because of the extensive area affected. But she made literally just a few spots—on the right, on the left, above, and below—and said, “That’s it. You can rest now.”
I asked, “What happened?”
She replied, “I don’t see any tears.”
Hallelujah! In five days, the tears disappeared. The Lord completely restored my retina. I give Him all the glory. Lord, I am grateful to You! You truly are a God of miracles!
