Testimonies of deliverance from alcoholism shared by people after a service at Father’s Blessing Church.
Casting Out the Spirit of Alcoholism
My name is Alexander. We were riding in a car in the back seat, and my partner had an epileptic seizure. Two other unbelievers were sitting in the front of the car. One of them jumped out and began forcing the man’s mouth open so that he would not bite his tongue. I always carry oil for anointing the sick, so I told them, “Quiet, stay calm.” I took the oil and began to pray in tongues, and I heard, “the spirit of alcoholism.” At that moment, the man was convulsing and screaming, with foam coming from his mouth… So I calmly commanded, “In the name of Jesus Christ, spirit of alcoholism, go out.” A smell of alcohol came out of the man, and he immediately became quiet. The unbelievers looked at each other in amazement and asked me, “What language were you praying in—Hebrew?” I replied, “No, it is another language from God.” After a while, my partner regained consciousness, and we asked him, “Have you ever had seizures?” He answered, “No, never.” I asked, “Did you drink yesterday?” He replied, “No, I haven’t had a drink in a long time.” That incident was a great shock to the unbelievers. Glory to the Lord!
Deliverance from Beer Addiction and Anger
My name is Natasha. I am 35 years old and from Selidovo. I had two problems. I got very angry over every little thing and was constantly indignant. I also had an addiction. I wanted to be free from beer addiction. When I came to church, the ministers prayed for me, and I received tremendous deliverance. Changes took place within a week: the anger and irritability were gone, and I had absolutely no desire to drink beer. These were very significant changes for me. I am very grateful to God that He healed me, heard my prayer, and delivered me from beer addiction and anger.
Freedom from Alcoholism after Prayer for a Photograph
More than a year ago, an acquaintance’s husband was drinking heavily. People prayed for him using his photograph. Since then, he has not had a drink, found a job, and his family was restored. Glory to the Lord! (Irina Lozinskaya, 41)
