Four days ago, I met a Ukrainian businessman from the Kherson region at a café. He was a former soldier who had served in Afghanistan. I told him my story, and the businessman sympathized with me, invited me to work for his agricultural company, paid for my dinner, gave me 5,000 hryvnias, and bought me clothes and a new phone at a supermarket.
