God still performs miracles and healings today, using simple items that have been prayed over. Pastor Viktor Lavrenchuk shared these testimonies.
Laughter in a Home Group
Pastor Viktor Lavrenchuk tells the story. A couple of weeks ago, a sister from Pokrovsk came to the service, bought some cloth, and placed it on the stage so that it could be “soaked.” The cloth was cut into pieces and distributed to people. A brother from another church and another city took some and went to his home group, where, he said, everything had always been very serious and no one ever laughed. He placed the cloth in his Bible and began to observe. After some time, one of the brothers, who had never laughed before, began laughing, and then the whole group started laughing. According to the storyteller, after this, the relationship between one married couple was restored.
The Priest and His Wife
Another brother, who always takes anointed cloth, is friends with an Orthodox priest. The priest was unwell. The brother took the cloth and went to see him after the service. The priest’s wife was there as well. They talked, and, according to the storyteller, the priest and his wife received baptism in the Holy Spirit.
