Matthew 6:19–21
19 Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but store up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal, 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Luke 10:20
Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
John 14:1–3
1 Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also.
2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that when our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Philippians 3:20–21
20 But our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself.
Colossians 3:1–4
1 Therefore, if you were raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God; 2 set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Hebrews 11:13–16
13 All these people died in faith without receiving the fulfillment of the promises, but they saw them only from afar, welcomed them, and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth; 14 for those who speak in this way show that they are seeking a homeland. 15 And if they had been thinking of the homeland from which they came, they would have had time to return; 16 but they were longing for a better one—that is, a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
1 Peter 1:3–4
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has given us new birth through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
Revelation 21:1–4
1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: Behold, the dwelling place of God is with people. He will dwell with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them [and will be their God]. 4 And [God] will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more; neither mourning nor crying nor pain will be any more, because the former things have passed away.
Revelation 21:22–27
22 I saw no temple in it, because its temple is the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb. 23 The city has no need of the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 25 Its gates will never be shut by day, and there will be no night there. 26 And they will bring into it the glory and honor of the nations [that entered]. 27 Nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices abomination and falsehood, but only those written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Revelation 22:1–5
1 And he showed me the river of the [pure] water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its broad street and on both sides of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve fruits and yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him 4 and will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them, and they will reign forever and ever.
