I call this interaction with the Holy Spirit, or partnership in healing. When I receive knowledge about a disease being healed, it is a good sign that we are now partners.
Knowledge about a disease that is being healed now usually comes spontaneously in the form of:
- A panoramic vision in which, as on television, you can see what is happening to the organ.
- Warmth, pulsing, or MILD pain in some part of the body. Attention! There should be no sharp pain whatsoever!
- A word sounding in the mind. The name of an organ, examination details, a doctor's conclusion, symptoms of the disease, details known only to the patient, and so on.
- Understanding at the level of the spirit. At some point, you simply know what is happening.
- A word spoken by the Holy Spirit through our mouths. I simply begin to speak and realize that I am an “observer,” not the “performer.”
When something comes, I usually say it exactly as I received it, choosing the appropriate words.
At the same time, I do not use many unnecessary phrases, such as “the Holy Spirit has just shown me,” or “the Lord has just told me that…”. I believe this distracts people's attention from Jesus, wastes time, and creates the impression that I am special and that God Himself speaks through me. But this is a slippery path. We must be humble and make sure that people see Him, not the gift or our personality.
I know that being careful with the gifts of the Spirit always keeps us available to the Holy Spirit. Conversely, promoting the gifts of the Holy Spirit will end badly. I choose to remain simple, removing “mysticism” from my ministry and presenting everything so naturally that others, seeing it, can also operate in it.
To receive gifts of this kind, you need to have a pure heart, love people, have no sin in your life, and be anointed for this.
These gifts are definitely not for promoting a person, but for making ministry easier and more effective. If the goal is achieved, the gifts will operate; if we try to “force” them onto ourselves and profit from them, the Holy Spirit will stop doing this. In other words, it is always the narrow path.
