The senior pastor of Father’s Blessing Church shares a message about how today we have many effective examples of how to heal the sick and receive healing.
Preachers of all times and nations use testimonies from the Bible to grow personally in faith and teach others the principles of healing and casting out demons.
All preachers follow the example of Jesus’ actions and words concerning the sick, and also cite the actions and words of people who received their miracle from Him.
We have done this and will continue to do so. However, not all testimonies are recorded in the Bible; there are incomparably more. John said that if everything that happened during Jesus’ ministry were recorded, the whole world could not contain the written books.
(John 21:25) “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
Moreover, we know that healings and miracles continued through Jesus’ disciples. We also see healings and miracles continuing in our day. What does this mean?
It means that we have incomparably more examples of how to heal the sick and how the sick receive healing.
In other words, if the Lord heals people in one way or another today, it is important for us to pay attention to this.
We have a testimony of how, with God’s help, our second daughter, Sofia, was born. This testimony was filmed and broadcast many times on Emmanuel TV (The Synagogue, Church of All Nations) and uploaded to YouTube.
And what is so special about this, you may ask?
Many infertile couples, and couples who had been childless for decades, saw another way to experience a miracle by watching this video. They repeated what we did and then miraculously had children.
Thus, modern testimonies of healing are effective teaching tools for us, showing us how to give and how to receive. They are contemporary examples of how to pray for the sick and how to receive. If the Lord is working this way today, then we should pay attention to it and use all of this.
