May this testimony inspire you and make you wiser. God’s people can have amazing abilities thanks to Him.
Once, I was at a large market where I needed to buy something. In one of the narrow aisles, where crowds of people were pressing against one another, I noticed someone trying to reach into my pocket.
Then I began to pray that God would protect me and my finances. After that, I stepped aside and began watching the crowds move like ants in an anthill.
I said, “Lord, show me the thieves so that I can see them.”
Immediately afterward, my vision changed. I began to see people as semi-transparent, but some figures stood out, becoming especially clear. What I saw next amazed me.
An entire network of thieves operating in the market unfolded before me. It was a well-organized group. I saw them scouting for victims and signaling to their accomplices, who were experts at “harvesting” wallets. They communicated through gestures.
Some of the criminals stood by the stalls, watching how much money people had and where they hid it. Then they passed the information through gestures to their accomplices, who were already waiting for victims in the narrow passageways. In these places, an artificial crowd was created—accomplices deliberately surrounded the victim and began to “rock” them, pushing from different sides.
The unsuspecting victim tried to escape the crowd as quickly as possible, and it was at that moment that the professionals extracted the money—not only from bags, but even from chest and inner pockets fastened with zippers or buttons.
As soon as the money reached the thief, he instantly passed it to someone else and disappeared into the crowd. It all looked as though ordinary shoppers were simply walking by with their bags and belongings.
I watched this for almost an hour. The group of thieves was everywhere, and I felt sorry for the people who became their victims.
Then I decided to test how it works for myself. I put an empty bag in my side pocket so that it would look like a wallet and walked through the passageway. Within a minute, someone deftly jostled me, and by the time I emerged from the crowd, I discovered that my pocket was already open. I did not even hear them open it and take out the bag.
My conclusions: first, be especially careful at markets and in crowded places. Second, do not keep money in easily accessible places. Third, pray for God's protection in such situations.
